Challenge
Medly is an app-based delivery pharmacy in major US cities. Successful delivery of sensitive medications must address wear, weather, security, communication, and ultimately customer use and efficacy.
Goal
Create a complete system of packaging that improves in-house operations systems, delivery handoffs, compliance, confidentiality, and efficacy.
Solution
The packaging system was made to consider the whole treatment journey, connecting with the Medly suite of digital products. The team developed a series of soft and hard goods to speed-up filling and packing to get meds out faster, while incorporating NFC labels for safe-tracking, safety features for easier use, and accessories for ritual and efficacy. The FDA-approved vial innovation uses an ergonomic boneline cap, anti-roll geometry, and UV privacy textures.
